NFPA Conference & Expo 2024 Brings Together Fire and Life Safety Experts from Around the World
The NFPA Conference & Expo was held at the Orlando Convention Center from June 17-19, attracting approximately 8,000 participants.
The 2024 NFPA Conference & Expo® aims to implement the products and services necessary to meet and maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards in the design, construction, and operation of all types of buildings and facilities.
In his opening speech, NFPA Board President Jim Pauley addressed the innovative approaches that NFPA is following to sup-port its stakeholders and shape the future of the fire and life safety ecosystem, both at home and globally. He also touched on the complex issues arising from new and old threats.
The NFPA 2024 Conference & Expo provided an excellent platform for industry leaders in fire, electrical, and life safety to exc-hange ideas, explore new technologies, and enhance their knowledge of safety standards and practices.
Participants had the opportunity to attend over 120 educational sessions, including hands on workshops supported by case studies and practical demonstrations on fire, electrical, and life safety topics.
The exhibition area, where more than 350 exhibitors showcased the latest products and services, including innovative technologies such as electric vehicles, fire protection systems, and virtual reality simulations, garnered significant attention.
Attendees had the chance to discover new technologies and discuss these innovations with their peers.
Debuting for the first time this year, the NFPA Learning Annex was well-received by participants, offering free sessions on topics such as natural disaster prepared-ness and the latest NFPA code updates.
Overall, the NFPA 2024 Conference & Expo provided an excellent platform for participants to enhance their professional knowledge and skills, discover new technologies, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry.
